Why Do Most Of Us Worship Celebrities?

1. We want to be them

Most of us have a subconscious desire to be famous and liked by people all over the world. The red carpet, paparazzi and social media. We want it all.

2. We feel close to them

Through social media, we feel closer to celebrities. We feel proud when they achieve success because you have this artificial, virtual bond.

3. We can have a taste

Photos, TV shows and movies. These media channels allow us to get a taste of stardom and a luxurious life right from our bedroom.

4. We are nosy

As humans, we like to gossip and find out everything about our favourite celebrity. Where they are, what they’re doing and what they’ve said in the past.

5. We admire beauty

Everyone would agree that one big reason for most celebrities’ fame is their looks. It’s a given that they’re talented in their respective field but a good helping of beauty definitely drives social media traffic and following.
